The Department of Business & Management Studies at the Faculty of Communication & Business Studies, Trincomalee Campus, Eastern University, Sri Lanka, recently hosted a transformative workshop under the theme of Leadership & Capacity Building for O/L and A/L commerce teachers on 18th September 2023. In collaboration with the Zonal Education Office, Trincomalee District, this initiative aimed to empower educators and bolster student achievement by identifying and fostering potential teacher-leaders. Led by esteemed figures including Mr T. Baskar, Dean of the Faculty of Communication & Business Studies, Mrs V. Leninkumar, Head of the Department of Business and Management Studies, and Mrs L.M.A. Shamila, Lecturer (Probationary) in the Department of Business & Management Studies, the workshop provided invaluable insights and practical strategies to enhance professional growth and sustainability within teaching teams.
